Town Hall w Rep. Kim Coleman and Sen. Lincoln Fillmore

Please join Senator Lincoln Fillmore and I in a Town Hall meeting this Saturday.  Share your thoughts and concerns with us as we report back to you on what is happening during the legislative interim and what we are working on.  Let's discuss the big issues that have been impacting our westside communities lately.

Hope to see you there!

I would really love to come, but I work during the day in Salt Lake. My concerns for our area center on public transportation options for the disabled and elderly. Right now where I live UTA does not provide service for their Flex Trans buses because our house is outside the two mile radius of being close to a normal bus stop. This public funded program does not reach a community in the very western corner of West Jordan. Why would I vote for improvement to a system that has no immediate plans to expand to reach my community. The West part of West Jordan is currently experiencing a massive growth spurt. Over 2000 new residential units are going in my immediate area and will be filled by the end of 2018. We are desperately looking for transportation alternatives like UTA.
